会议背景介绍
Welcome to the 11th International Conference on Information Resources Management, to be held at University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Digital technologies are transforming our daily lives and creating new opportunities for economic development and social advancement. The Internet, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence are just some examples of technologies that have made an impact on areas such as healthcare, politics, and education. Although digital technologies are transforming our surroundings in many positive ways, they also bring new challenges that need to be addressed. Issues related to privacy, digital divide, and environmental damage are some challenges posed by digital technologies. This conference aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest developments in digital technologies among researchers and practitioners and to create opportunities for collaboration among participants.
It is timely that the 2018 Conf-IRM will be held in China, a country that is in the midst of a digital revolution. With more than 600 million online users, the Internet is changing the fabric of daily life in China. Moreover, China’s recent 5-year economic plan has placed significant emphasis on innovation, new media and information technology. Recognizing the significant impact of digital technologies on businesses, society and the people, the Chinese government has also defined a "Digital China" vision, which includes national initiatives aimed at supporting digital transformation in a wide range of industries. We invite submissions in all areas of Information Systems research. We also encourage submissions related to the conference theme across all conference tracks.
